stress levels and bigger demands on your Volvo or Toyota if you are driving to destinations around the UK. Below is some helpful advice that may make
things easier for you!
Volvo or Toyota Key Fobs
It can be incredibly easy to lose your car keys on the beach or out walking – make sure you zip them in a pocket or in a bag. If you accidentally ruin
your remote control fob by jumping in the pool or sea with it in your pocket then you could find yourself in a spot of bother! Read your Volvo or Toyota
handbook before you go on holiday and see if there is an alternative way to open the doors of your Volvo or Toyota. If you do need an emergency replacement
car key or car fob call Key Assist they have mobile technicians who can come out to help you. Its always wise as we have mentioned in previous blogs
to carry a spare set of keys as it could end up very costly to you!
Volvo & Toyota Punctures
If you check the condition and pressures of your Volvo or Toyota tyres on a regular basis then you can minimise the risk of experiencing a puncture or
blowout. The higher road temperatures in the summer increase the risk of blowouts – so check the tyres before you depart. If you are towing a caravan
check those tyres also. If you have an increased load in your Toyota or Volvo then check the owners manual to see what the increased tyre pressure
should be.
Volvo or Toyota Overheating
With the summer weather heating up there is a higher risk of something going wrong with your Volvo or Toyota cooling system. Check there is sufficient
coolant before you start the journey and always carry a spare bottle in the boot – just incase you get stuck in tailbacks – you never know when you
may need to top it up. If you think before your journey you may have a problem – like the fan not coming in, it is advisable to take it to your local
independent garage and get it checked over – there could be no worse way to start your well earned vacation with a lengthly and costly breakdown! Thats
one sure way of sending your stress levels soaring!
