The low emissions are also a benefit for employers, because they ensure it is free to tax the car each year. And with an official combined consumption figure of 74.3mpg, there’s no need to worry about hefty fuel bills either.
Mr Cooper says the V40 D4 brings other financial benefits to fleet operators, courtesy of a comprehensive range of safety features that helps reduce the risk of accidents.
“This keeps repair costs to a minimum,” he argues, “as well as leading to lower insurance premiums.”
