your Volvo or Toyota. Oil is the equivalent of blood to the engine of your Volvo or Toyota - it keeps the engine lubricated and running. If you run
low or indeed run out of oil, the friction within the engine will increase resulting in the engine overheating which will cause you to break down.

to simply check your oil levels on a regular basis – weekly or fortnightly. If you make it a regular part of your life it will be easy to avoid an
expensive breakdown. It really does only take 5 minutes to check. Most dipsticks have 2 levels always keep the oil in between the two. Make sure the
engine is warm when you check and also ensure your car is on a level surface not on a hill.
Don’t leave your oil checks to your annual service. Always carry a litre or two of spare oil in your boot so if your oil light comes on you have oil to
top up during your journey. Never over fill your oil levels on your Volvo or Toyota as this too can cause damage. During your annual service on your
Volvo or Toyota your oil will be drained and replaced with new oil keeping it fresh and free from build up of dirt and sediments.
