The blog this week is about the health of your clutch on your Volvo and Toyota. How often do you check the fluid levels on your clutch? Do you leave it to your local independent garage
when you book in for your annual service? We advise that you check your levels on a monthly basis, that way if you find that you are having to regularly
top up then there could be a problem – possibly a leak. If you are unsure which bottle is your brake/clutch fluid then check your owners’ manual. If
you find that your fluid looks dirty upon inspection then this could be a sign that the seals in the master cylinder are compromised. They are not
built to last forever and at some point will perish. Either of these issues need to be investigated by an expert at your local independent Volvo or
Toyota garage. Another sign of course is a spongy clutch pedal or difficulty engaging gear. If you have a failure in the system your Volvo or Toyota
will be rendered un drivable. Never ignore any of these issues as they will not disappear, they will only get worse. Happy motoring folks!
