In order to keep the exterior paintwork of your Volvo or Toyota in good condition you should use good quality products. Going cheap will not give you the
protection your body work needs. Good quality waxes and polishes will give you the finish you are looking for and will protect your paintwork better
and for longer. So don’t be afraid of spending that little bit extra. Of course once you have bought them use them regularly – don’t be one of those
drivers that buys all the products uses them once and then forgets about them in the back of the cupboard to gather dust. There has been advancement
in polishes and waxes over the years, not only are they better at protecting the paintwork from fading they are also much easier to use. Back in the
day you really had to work hard to get the high polish shine and really work the products in to get rid of that white residue.
Another reason for keeping your Volvo or Toyota waxed is that it is much easier to remove grease and grime from the paintwork as the shiny polished surface
makes it harder for it to adhere to. A top tip for keeping your paintwork in great condition is if you park under trees and get Bird Poo on your paintwok
you must wash it off straight away – there are compounds in bird poo which will affect your paintwork and could leave it looking dull and faded. Having
a highly polished and waxed car will help protect it until you can get it washed off. Please remember that a Volvo or Toyota that has been looked after
will command a higher resale price than one that hasn’t been looked after. The exterior of your Volvo or Toyota is the first thing a potential buyer
will see and if they see that the bodywork has not been maintained then they could also question whether the engine has been maintained.
