The blog this week is about what does it mean if one of your indicators is flashing faster than the other on the dashboard of your Volvo or Toyota?
So basically when you use your indicator and you notice that one of them is blinking way faster than normal you have a blown bulb. If you wish to change
it yourself you can purchase one from a shop and use your Volvo or Toyota owners’ manual for instructions on how to do it. All vehicles are made differently
so you need to look at your manual for instruction. If you need to change the headlight bulb firstly do not attempt to do this when the glass is hot.
Secondly always wear gloves – this is because you can leave trace amounts of oil and grease on the halogen bulb and cause that part of the bulb to
become hotter and eventually crack. Some vehicles are quite complicated to get at the headlights – if in any doubt take the car to your local independent
garage where they will be able to assist you. Lights and indicators are important items – especially as the days are shorter and its getting darker
earlier. Other road users need to be able to see you and know your intentions as well as pedestrians. If your lights are not working correctly on your
Volvo or Toyota your car will fail its MOT. You could also risk getting stopped by the police and being issued with a fine. Stay safe!
