The blog this week is about what we are doing here at ACC UK Ltd with regards to the coronavirus situation that we find ourselves in as a nation. The country has gone back into a national lockdown again to try and combat the spread of the infection. But what does that mean to you and the servicing, repair or MOT of your vehicle? As an essential business, just like during the last lockdown our job is to ensure vehicles are kept safely on the road. Read on to find out more:
Here at ACC UK Ltd, Volvo & Toyota Independent Specialists we wish to reassure our customers new and existing that we always put the best interests of our staff and customers first.
Whilst remaining to conduct business as usual, we take your health and wellbeing seriously, therefore we are making our best efforts to ensure you have a safe visit to the garage.
We regularly sanitise our premises, continue to monitor our staff health and will assist you in whatever way we can to ease your peace of mind. We are unable to accommodate anyone waiting in reception during an MOT or service –sorry but this is for your own health and that of our staff. Please ring the bell at the front door when dropping off your vehicle and if you have to enter the premises please ensure that you are wearing a face mask.
We have hand sanitiser in the reception and workshop. We also have sanitiser to wipe down areas that have been touched on your vehicle such as steering wheels and door handles etc. Our technicians wear gloves when they work on your vehicle – this is nothing new – we have always operated in this way. We continue to offer a free collection and pick up service so you do not have to come into the garage and of course we are encouraging you to pay over the phone – again nothing new – we have always operated in this way. These working methods will help to minimise contact and keep everyone safe whilst maintaining a safe roadworthy car.
It is understandable that some of our customers are self isolating and taking precautions to minimise contact and distance themselves from public places and person to person contact. Please speak with us so that we can work with you to minimise your contact whilst at the same time undertaking the repairs/service/MOT that your vehicle requires to enable you to do what you need to do during these very trying times.
