Meet the Team: Andre Bernado

Every week we will be doing a getting to know the team blog. We have been in business for 23 years and have had staff come and go over the years but have never done a meet the team blog. This week we are shining the spotlight on Andre Bernardo. Andre is our final year apprentice technician and we are so proud to see how his skills and personality have developed over the last 18 months. We asked everyone the same questions…..it’s just a bit of fun!

What's your favourite movie quote?
“Keep the change Ya Filthy Animal!”
This is from the 1992 movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. It’s actually a line from a fictional movie called “Angels With Filthy Souls” that Kevin McCallister (played by Macaulay Caulkin) watches in the film. The scene was created specifically for Home Alone and wasn’t a real movie. 

What's the most interesting place you've ever travelled to & why?
Portugal – because it’s where I am from

What's your go-to karaoke song?
You should be dancing – Bee Gees

What's your favourite way to unwind after a long workday?
Chilling out watching Netflix!

If you could switch jobs with anyone for a week, who would it be?
Max Verstappen

What's the strangest thing you've ever eaten?
Definitely snails!

Iron Man – so I could fly around!

What's the funniest thing that's happened to you recently?
Jordan constantly falling in the MOT rollers and pit – he is a proper klutz

What's the worst piece of advice you've ever been given? 
Keep Calm – when you are already mad – so infuriating!

If you could be any animal for a day, which would you choose and why?
A dog – because you can do nothing all day!
Dogs are known for their loyalty, sociability and trainability. They exhibit a wide range of personality traits, including playfulness, curiosity and affection and can also display aggression or fearfulness. 

What's your favourite holiday and why?
Tenerife – loved the constant blue skies and warm sunshine

What's a fun fact about yourself that people might not know?
I can speak Portuguese

If you could turn your belly button into a real button, what would it do? 
It would definitely be a superpower – but not sure which one

What is your dream car?
Ferrari F40

Best thing about your job?
The people I work with – work family right there!
